Linda Pritchett

As the founder of the Get Smart Medicare Store and the co-publisher of NOW! Magazine, Linda’s been working with retirees and their families for the past 19 years. As a Certified Senior Adviser, Certified Long Term Care Consultant, and Certified Social Security Specialist, as well as a Medicare specialist, Linda believes that knowledge is power!

She knows that enrolling in Medicare and choosing the right plan can be a very confusing process for most people and started the Get Smart Medicare Store to take the mystery out of it. She is proud to be coining the phrase Medicare Made Easy!

Linda and her team have a combined 25 years working with Medicare recipients and can explain it in a very simple and easy to understand way so you can make the right choice each and every time.

Every year the plans change; Benefits change, doctors and formularies change, co-pays and deductibles change and it’s important to keep up with what’s available to you. The Get Smart Medicare Store wants to be your advocate for the rest of your life, and Linda is dedicated to seeing that happens.

Holly James

Holly joined Get Smart in October of 2017.  After spending 6 years in banking, Holly spent another 5 years working for Deuterman Law Group as a Social Security Disability Claims Specialist. Over the course of that time, Holly was able to work with over 180 clients seeking Disability benefits from the Social Security Administration, starting with the application process all the way through the appeals process.   She believes that everyone should be treated with the utmost courtesy and dignity, no matter what their situation is.

After joining the Get Smart Medicare Store, Holly became certified to offer Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage plans to all Medicare recipients, as well as all other life and health insurance products.  She is also certified to offer health insurance plans through the ACA (aka Obamacare).  Holly brings a wealth of knowledge and a kind spirit to the people in our community.  She lives in Greensboro with her husband and two sons, and in her spare time she volunteers and loves to watch both her sons play baseball.

Brooks Pritchett

Brooks is the most recent member of the Get Smart Medicare Store team. Upon leaving the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he always knew he would follow in his mother Linda’s footsteps.  He is certified to offer Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans, as well as all other life and health insurance products.  He is constantly learning new things and truly has a servant’s heart.  

In his spare time, Brooks is a baseball umpire.  He umpires both at the high school and junior college levels.  He has aspirations to maybe call for the Major Leagues someday.
